Opportunity

The Strategic Business Development Representative will generate new business opportunities among F1000 companies in the travel, retail, consumer packaged goods and quick service restaurant industries through research and creative execution of multi-channel engagement tactics (email, telephone, LinkedIn, social media, events) to gain access to technology users, buyers, decision makers and become experts of target companies organizational structures.

The SBDR will also conduct introductory conversations with decision-makers to uncover their business goals and challenges as they relate to the SessionM offering and determine whether the prospect is a “fit.” The ideal person for the SBDR role will be competitive (but a team player), goal-oriented, persistent, methodical, naturally curious, and serious about learning new skills and industries without taking him/herself too seriously. Candidates should have experience penetrating F1000 enterprise companies and a track record of capturing the attention of technology buyers. This position has a compensation package that includes an uncapped commission structure.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities among strategic F1000 companies
  • Identify key stakeholders in strategic accounts
  • Partner and strategize with an experienced Strategic Enterprise AE
  • Engage managers, directors, VPs and executives in targeted strategic F1000 accounts
  • Conduct discussions with key contacts around their business needs
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
  • Leverage CRM tools, technology and general hustle to prospect into strategic accounts

Requirements

  • College Graduate
  • 1-2 years experience prospecting into F1000 companies
  • Understanding of what it takes to penetrate a F1000 company
  • Coachable and desire to learn
  • Desire to learn both industry and process
  • Conducts himself/herself confidently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Positive "can-do" attitude
  • Desire to hustle and prove oneself
