The Director of Human Resources is responsible for managing the execution of HR initiatives in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Diversity Awareness, Employment Relations, and HR Communications in alignment with the strategic vision for HR and effectively meet the needs of the organization.


Talent Acquisition: Personally drive development and management of a recruiting strategy that supports the needs/demands of the business by attracting, retaining, motivating, coaching and developing a diversified and quality workforce, including actively sourcing candidates without recruiters. Support the talent management process including development and mobility of talent to meet the short, intermediate and longer term needs of the organization. Create a passive recruiting program that improves the talent pipeline and builds the Company’s brand.

Employee Relations: Proactively maximizes positive employee relations through building successful relationships with our team members. Acts as consultant by providing feedback, recommendations and information to ensure consistent interpretation of company guidelines and federal and state legislation. Demonstrates effective balance between consistency and flexibility in developing, interpreting and communicating Human Resources policies and employee relations strategy.

Performance Management: Create a standardized and effective agile performance management process with supporting tools. Effectively coach and counsel managers and employees through the Performance Management process - identify performance issues/developmental needs and establishing appropriate solutions and action plans. Select, administer and provide technical support for any performance management tools.

  • Understands and Contributes to annual budget process.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of short and long-term goals and objectives.
  • Participates in senior meetings to provide a high level of HR consultative support in aligning the human capital needs with the overall business needs by providing insight into workforce planning, motivational techniques, strategy, productivity measures, etc.

Training: Support the development of training programs.

Legal: Ensures compliance with all federal and local labor laws and regulations.

  • Develop appropriate employee events and engagement programs to meet the Company’s compliance objectives.

Benefits Management: Inform management of the Company on benefit programs, strategy, costs, benefits, etc. by staying informed on all Health, Welfare and Retirement benefits programs for the organization.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-7 years of HR Generalist and recruiting experience.
  • Prior tech experience preferred.
  • Recruiting and HR experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to be high-level strategic but also willing to work the details.
  • Demonstrated experience of building an HR function.
  • Working knowledge of benefits and compensation highly preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and local employment law.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving and counseling skills.
  • Experience in identifying and managing employee relations issues.
  • Strong relationship building skills with business partners to assist and influence decision making.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR tools.
