Opportunity

Come help us create the next generation of marketing automation tools that allow our clients to build and manage their own robust loyalty programs and marketing campaigns. We are hiring a UI/UX Director to lead the design of our cloud-based SaaS platform. Applicants must show portfolio work that communicates successful implementations of user-focused designs

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of designers who will work on all phases of the UI/UX lifecycle:
    • Research
    • Personas
    • Competitive analysis
    • Information architecture
    • Ideation
    • Wireframing
    • Prototyping
    • Usability testing
    • Visual design
  • Establish the design strategy and provide visionary leadership
  • Shape the design process to ensure quality work in a short timeframe
  • Research and share industry trends and competitive analysis
  • Mentor designers and shape the growth of the team
  • Collaborate closely with the heads of Product and Engineering
  • Evangelize UI/UX within the organization
  • Find ways to maximize the efficiency of workflow between development and design in an agile process
  • Drive and document design standards
  • Lead usability discussions with clients

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in UI/UX, including 5+ years of design team leadership
  • Excellent knowledge of UI/UX best practices and current trends
  • Passion for design and an eye for quality
  • Deep knowledge of all phases of the design lifecycle
  • Adept at working in a very fast-paced environment, and able to balance efficiency with quality
  • Excellent creative, communication, and analytical skills
  • Good at presenting designs & articulating design decisions
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to foster collaboration across teams
  • Proficient in a variety of design tools, such as Sketch, Balsamiq, and Invision
  • Preferred:
    • Degree in a related discipline
    • Experience working on B2B web applications
