Come help us introduce the next generation of mobile marketing management tools that allow our clients to build and manage their own robust customer management, loyalty programs and marketing messaging systems. SessionM is looking for a Program Manager to successfully manage project deliverables within SessionM's engineering group and coordinate projects internally.  This position combines superior project management skills, working closely with engineers and engineering managers, and understanding software development and technology. We are looking for experienced program managers who have proven track records of being delivery focused, organized, and who can perform at a high level - leading strategic, cross-functional, technical SaaS implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for initiating, planning, scheduling,,, coordinating, controlling, managing and delivering all activities for large engineering projects and related release initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary conduit between internal stakeholders

  • Oversee the day-to-day progress of project(s) and release initiatives with regard to time, budget, scope and quality and apply processes to report release status, key metrics and deliverables.

  • Ensure consistent Agile methodology across the scrum teams.

  • Coordinate inter-project and inter-team dependencies and risks.

  • Manage change

  • Run post-mortem  on projects and  improve processes.

  • Build clear project plans and be able to present them to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience with good understanding of the software development process and unique challenges software engineering groups face..

  • 2+ years’ experience managing software projects, preferably cloud-based SaaS.

  • Solid project management skills and training with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in cross-functional environment.

  • Must understand Agile software development.

  • Strong communication and negotiations  skills are required to drive focus on our primary goals.

  • PMP certification from an accredited program a plus.
