Loyalty Reporting Overview
The Loyalty Reporting Module provides a consolidated location to view reporting as it pertains to your loyalty program. More specifically, you can see metrics on loyalty members, the points economy and customer engagement.
The Loyalty Reporting Module dashboard provides a snapshot of all loyalty reports summarized with the total number users, points, or engagements, month over month growth percentage, and a sparkline to show trending behavior for the past 30 days.
Within this dashboard, you are able to toggle reporting to show 7 day and 30 day reporting from the dashboard view. Clicking into an individual loyalty report provides a
detailed representation of the respective data requested.
Available Loyalty Reports
The following reports are available within the Loyalty Reporting Module:
Registered Visitors – The count of registered members of a loyalty program who have an event tracked by SessionM over a selected time period.
Active Members – The count of members who have earned or spent points over a selected time period.
New Members – The count of customers who were not previously members of the program and did not sign up over the specified time frame.
Points Economy – The count of points earned, points redeemed and points expired over a specified time period.
Engagement – Engagement information pertaining to active loyalty program members.
Each report type allows you to control the data shown within the graph using a number of selection options, including:
Date Range – Clicking in the date range field at the top right of the report presents the date picker widget. Define a custom range of dates to run the report by selecting a start date and an end date. You cannot select a date before the program activation date or after the current date.
Time Interval Dropdown – Selecting the Time Interval dropdown above the graph adjusts the data view to daily, weekly, or monthly.
Registered Visitors Report
Registered Visitor reporting shows the count of registered members who have an event tracked by SessionM over a selected time period. An event can include behaviors that go beyond the earning and spending of loyalty points.
An event within the report can include behaviors that go beyond the earning and spending of loyalty points.
Active Members Report
Active Member reporting shows the count of members who have earned or spent points over a selected time period.
New Members Report
New Member reporting shows the count of customers who were not previously members of the program and did not sign up over the specified time frame.
Points Economy Report
Points Economy reporting shows the count of points earned, points redeemed and points expired over a specified time period.
Points Economy Types
Points Economy reporting can be viewed across a number of tabs detailing point related metrics, including points earned, redeemed, expired, and gifted.
Earned Tab – The total number of points accumulated by the member base over a selected time period.
The Points Earned count includes points that are comped to a member through the Customers Module.
Redeemed Tab – The total number of points spent on rewards over a selected time period.
Expired Tab – The total number of previously earned points that are marked invalid due to inactivity according to a specific program’s terms and conditions.
Gifted Tab – Total points obtained via gift from other program members.
Engagement reporting shows engagement information pertaining to active loyalty program members.
Engagement Report Types
Engagement reporting can be viewed in two different ways, including engagements per active user and total engagements.
Engagements/Active User – The number of point-earning or point-redeeming events taken per active member over the specified period.
Total Engagements – The total number of engagements that have taken place within the loyalty program over the defined time period.
