Offers Overview

The Offers Module provides the tools within the SessionM Platform for creating and managing various types of offers. Through this module, you establish the rules for your offer, upload its creative, manage its placement in a reward store, and understand its impact through performance metrics.

Offers can manifest themselves in various locations within the SessionM Platform.

Reward Store – For brands utilizing a points based loyalty program, one or more offers can be assigned to a reward store allowing users to redeem accrued points for an offer based reward.

Campaigns Module – One or more offers can be issued as the outcome of a successfully completed campaign (e.g., a “Buy 5 coffees in 5 days” campaign issues a “Free Coffee” offer).

Loyalty Rules Module – One or more offers can be issued as the outcome of a successfully completed loyalty rule. (e.g., a “Complete First Purchase” rule issues a “$5 off order” offer).

Promo Codes Module – One or more offers can be issued as the outcome of a successfully redeemed promo code (e.g., the “WINTER2018” promo code issues a “50% off item” offer).

Offers Dashboard

The dashboard of the Offers Module is the main landing area where you can view the status of each offer or create new offers. Additionally, you can view basic performance metrics on how many offers have been purchased in the reward store or issued as a reward.

The Offers dashboard.

The Offers dashboard includes a number of details and features to help you and your team streamline the flow for creating and managing offers, including:

Offer Status – The status of an offer is indicated with a tag that appears on the left side of the Offers dashboard. Offer statuses include:

  • Draft – The offer has been created and the owner and contributors are working on it.

  • Deactivated – The offer has been paused and is no longer eligible for purchase in the rewards store or as a deliverable outcome for a promotion or loyalty rule.
  • Complete – The offer end date has passed, or allocated offer inventory has been depleted.

Engagement Metrics – You can view top-line metrics for an offer such as the purchase count and award count, shown on the right-hand side of each offer row. These metrics provide up to date information on how many times an offer has been either purchased in the reward store or awarded as part of a promotional campaign.

Page View – Navigate to the previous, next, first and last pages to view additional offers using the page view arrows or choose a specific page by clicking directly on the page indicator.

Define Offer Restrictions

The Offers Module allows platform users to restrict offer purchase and offer redemption with frequency caps, usage restrictions and inventory caps.

There are two types of purchase restrictions you can configure.

Purchase restrictions include:
